Windows 10: Cannot change primary email address. Error message: Your organization's policies prevent...

Hello. I will shortly be deleting my old ....@sympatico.ca email address so i want to remove it from my microsoft account. When I went to my "manage how you sign into Microsoft account" page there is no option to switch primary addresses. instead I get the following message below my address:........@sympatico.ca primary aliasYour organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias.I am not attached to any organization, I am the administrator on my computer. I have one desktop and two apple devices. I've signed into all microsoft products using the secondary email. but n

Change primary alias- error "your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias".

I have changed email providers from sympatico to gmail. I cannot remove the sympatico email as my primary alias, getting the message "your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias". I am the sole user of this laptop and I have
no idea how to change "my organization's policies". I am able to access the net only by clicking on Chrome's "Run as an administrator" with slower performance.

How do I eliminate the primary alias to regain normal usage with the new email sign on?

 

Trying to Change Microsoft Account primary email but I'm getting "Your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias."

I have a family of 6 with 6 emails. I recently change carriers and I was required to change each of my family's emails. I need to change my Microsoft Account primary email but I'm getting "Your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary
alias." I'm not sure what this means but i'm not part of a company organization. How do I change my primary alias. Can someone help me out here. Thank you

I was trying to Redeem an Item from Microsoft Rewards when I realized it was going to be sent to my @xboxlivefamily.com email address. That address cannot receive emails, is this with all @xboxlivefamily.com addresses? And why can't they receive emails?
So, I decided to change the primary email (alias) and It wouldn't let me. It said, "Your organization's policies prevent you from changing your primary alias." I am not apart of any organization. What could it be? Family?
