Windows 10: Cannot change timezone to Abu Dhabi from Pacific, US Time

I've been having difficulties changing my timezone back to Abu Dhabi I live in Dubai, UAE. Although I could just change the time manually on my laptop, its would be easier to just change the timezone so that there isn't any confusion when I attend my meetings. It keeps on showing this error:

Timezone on Windows keeps resetting to Pacific time.

When I first built this computer, I realized the time wasn't set correctly so I went into settings to fix it. I saw that the timezone was set to pacific time although I'm in central time. I tried changing the timezone, but nothing changed. I tried some
other things in settings but the only thing that worked was to set the time manually which worked at the time so i thought nothing about it, But I realized that in certain apps or websites that use the computers timezone, the time was still incorrect. I took
a look back at settings and saw that even though the time was correct the timezone was still set to pacific. I tried some more to change the timezone but every time it would just reset back to pacific time. This issue is really annoying, and if anyone could
share a solution, that would be great.

 

time and date problem

My date and time automatically change when I switch off my phone. I live in India but when i switch the phone off its timezone changed into Abu Dhabi.

For us to properly isolate the issue with changing the timezone, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• What is the exact error message that you are getting?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

As an initial resolution, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• In the search box, type in cmd. You'll see Command Prompt listed.
  Right-click and select Run as Administrator.
• Type tzutil /l to see the list of all time zones.
• Once you have found your time zone, copy the description that is on the second line. Example:
  
  (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
  
  Central Standard Time <---- copy
  
• Afterwards, type tzutil /s "paste the time zone here". Like this:
  
  tzutil /s "Central Standard Time" (make sure to include the quotations!); then, Enter.
  
• Exit the Command Prompt, and then go to your time settings.
