Windows 10: Cannot change to normal account settings from child account

My forza horizon 4 account is using a child account email, and i tried to change it but i cant seem to find the settings to change that on my xbox app, and i did some research and found out that i have to download microsoft family application, but its unavailable for my country. What do i do?

You can change a child account to a normal account by following these steps:



1. Log into the administrator account.

2. Press Windows key + C, and click on settings followed by PC settings.

3. Click on “Accounts’ in the left pane and then click on ‘Other accounts’.

4. Click on the child user account and then click on ‘Edit’.

5. Now select ‘Standard account’ in the drop-down menu.

Child account

I did set up a Child account, I did fallow all the steps window ask, the account say that the child is in the family, when I tried to log, give me the message "The Profile Service service Failed The Sign-in. User Profile cannot be loaded".

Answering your questions:

• Did you make any changes to the child account prior to the issue? No, I did not make any changes.
• Since when you are facing this issue? Right from the start. I never got to login.
• Are you able to login with other child accounts on the computer? No

I suggest you to restart the computer once and check if you are able to login to the computer. I did, the same problem, I do not have any problem with my account or my wife.

Changing Adult Account to Child Account

To rectify your issue in converting an account from child/teen to an adult, we suggest that you try these steps and see if it helps.

• Press Windows key + I to open Settings.
• Click Accounts.
• Click Family and other users on the left pane.
• Select the adult account and click Change account type.
