    Cannot Change windows 10 to 11 and UEFI SECURE BOOT WILL NOT WORK


    Im having a Major **** for the past few months I have been attempting to swap my windows to windows 11.I check pc health checker it says I must enable UEFI SECURE BOOTI try to do that when I enable secure boot it doesnt swap the actual Windows to secure boot and boots to nothing I tried using the Original Windows 10 Key I used to first build my pc and that doesnt show up as a boot option Do I have to buy a windows 11 key and just reset everything on the pc?I cant factory restore the pc as it comes up with a weird error saying cannot reset nothing has been changed.I cant do anything such as use

    Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

    I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?
