  1. Cannot choose the audio output Both headset and speakers are playing the audio simultaneously

I have recently replaced my motherboardzebronics h61 and after that the option to choose sound output changed. Previously I can choose in which device I want to output the sound. Now there is only one option [Speakers USB Audio and HID] and the both the headset and speakers are playing the audio. Every single time I have to plug out the speakers.I have tried installing all the versions of Realtek audio drivers but for some reason in the device manager the driver is still not updating and showing the driver provider is Microsoft but I remember in my previous motherboard the driver provider

    :)

how to select the output audio speakers

To change the speaker output on Windows Media Player, you can try the following steps:

    1. Open Windows Media Player.
    2. Click on “Tools” and then “Options”.
    3. Click on the “Devices” tab.
    4. Click on “Speakers” and then “Properties”.
    5. Select the audio device you want to use and click on “OK”.
    6. You may also have to restart WMP for changes to take effect.
If the above steps don’t work, you can try changing the default sound device in Windows 11. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Open the Settings app by pressing the Windows key + I.
    2. Click on “System” and then “Sound”.
    3. Under the “Output” section, click on the “Choose where to play sound” setting.
    4. Select the speakers, headphones, or headsets you want to use.

Audio playing through speakers even when headphones plugged in.

    Hi Jan,

Your audio might not play through your headset may be caused by conflicting audio software, or that your audio card may not have the latest drivers, etc. For us to isolate the issue in playing audio through your headset while your speakers are connected,
kindly respond to the questions below:

    • Have you checked if the audio cables are connected properly?
    • Does your computer have multiple audio input/output slots?
    • Are you using a USB audio device?
    • Have you checked the volume control of your device if there are separate controls for your headset and speakers?

We look forward to your response.

Cannot choose the audio output Both headset and speakers are playing the audio simultaneously

How to get simultaneous audio through both USB headphones and main speakers

Interesting trick above, but there should also be a setting in your on-board audio's Control Panel, eg -
    Realtek HD Audio Manager.

With Realtek the option to allow both speakers (rear outputs) and headphones/headset (front panel outputs)

to run simultaneously is generally called (or something similar)...

'Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously.'
