Windows 10: Cannot click on anything on HP Victus Windows computer

Hello,I’ve tried numerous threads with similar questions to mine but none of the suggestions helped.I am not technologically advanced so I’m sorry for not knowing all the specs of my computer. I know I have an HP Victus and it runs either Windows 10 or 11. I would love to check which one it is but I can’t click on anything on my computer. Yesterday, my computer was working fine. When I went to shut it off, I saw there was an update. I clicked update and shutdown and then went to bed. When I tried to use the computer today, it doesn’t work. My mouse works fine it moves around but whenever I cli

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

I understand your concern about accessing HP simple pass after upgrading to Windows 10. We will help you with this issue.

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

HP Victus 16 will not connect to second monitor

Heyo, I got a pretty weird problem with my laptop.

I basically have a dual external monitor setup connected to my HP Victus 16, one connected via HDMI (works perfectly) and one connected via USB-C to DP (HP ZR24w, buggy and almost never works).

The problem is, is that sometimes I can get the monitor to work sometimes, but other times, it will just:

• Disconnect randomy
  
• Not connect at all (no signal)
  
• Connect but show a black screen (windows settings forces the device to stay disconnected)
  
• Wont detect the display after a sleep/restart/shutdown and etc.
  

Things I have tried:

• Cleanly installing windows.
  
• Updating nvidia/intel drivers
  
• Downloading all the drivers from HP website
  
• Check if the cable is faulty (it's not)
  
• Reconnect the monitor (obviously)
  
• Mess around in bios with USB-C settings (idk, might be something there or not?)
  
• Restart the graphics driver (Win+Ctrl+Shift+B)
  

Any ideas on how I could possibly fix this frustrating issue?

 

Brightness will not change on my HP Victus Laptop (Windows 11).

I'm having the same issue, I think this is probably with some windows or driver updates compatibility.
Since only HP Victus users are having this issue.
