Cannot connect a windows 10 PC to a WiFi network.

I thought I posted this question yesterday but can't find it anywhere in the community. In essence cannot connect a windows 10 PC to a WiFi network. No matter what steps are taken. I have been struggling with the problem for a number of days and none of the suggestions elsewhere on the net make the slightest difference. We have a PC, laptop and three mobile devices all connected to the network with exactly the same settings and password with no problem. This one PC refuse to join the network.

If I can remember them all will list below the attempted fixes so far:-

    Double-check password

    WiFi Channel width

    IPv6 off

Allow PC to turn off WiFi adaptor to save power

    Update adaptor driver

    Adaptor reset

    Uninstall adaptor and reboot

Change to Static IP address and then return to Automatic IP address

    Same security type

    Forget Connection and find again

Any further help will be greatly appreciated.

    :)

Cannot connect to wifi network from windows 10 PC

I recently purchased a wifi card for my windows 10 PC (upgraded from windows 7 a while ago). I have installed a driver from TP-Link's website that claims compatibility with windows 10, and can see my network in the list of available networks. When trying
to connect, it asks for the network key, then says that it can't connect to the network.

Network troubleshooter suggested connecting to a network (even though the issue is that I am unable to connect).

I created a wlan report (downloadable from dropbox) which is suggesting that the network is unavailable, even though all my other devices (phone,
windows 10 laptop, xbox, wifi bridge, ds) can connect to this same network without issue.

Also tried reinstalling the driver, uninstalling the device and rebooting, letting windows find it's own driver and rebooting the router, still nothing.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

  3. Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.

Cannot connect a windows 10 PC to a WiFi network.

Relocated PC can't connect to internet

You don't need to sign in to connect to the WiFi at the new location. There is a network icon at the lower right on the sign in screen. Click on it and you get the same list of available WiFi as you see if you click the network icon on the task bar. You will be able to connect to the facility's WiFi without signing in. You just need to ask their technical people for the WiFi password so you can enter it when you try to connect.

Clicking on the network icon on the sign in screen gets you the same screen as shown in Option Four in this tutorial. You will then be able to follow the rest of the steps in Option Four to connect.
