Windows 10: cannot connect android galaxy note 9 to windows 11 PC

The devices see each other but they will not pair . It simply says "check settings" . WHAT SETTINGS , WHAT ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT IN DETAIL ?troubleshooter does not fix problem . There is nothing special about the phone . It has ZERO trouble connecting to anything else . The problem is with the PC .ASUS i9-12900KF , ASUS PRIME Z690 A , 32gb DDR5 ,quadro rtx 5000

It is important after the phone is connected to the PC with a USB cable to swipe from the top of the phone screen to show the notifications. If you can't connect the phone to your PC with a USB cable then the easiest way to get the screenshots from your phone to your PC is to email them to yourself. I just opened my Gmail account on my phone, created a new email, attached the screenshots to it, and emailed them. When I opened the email on my PC I selected to to download the attachment. Note the attachment was a single zip file with the screenshots inside.

Generally, such issues occur when your desktop isn't able to recognize your device. And this happens when your Windows doesn't have compatible USB Drivers. In such a case, you can manually download and install a USB Driver for your device.
