Windows 10: Cannot create the desired default view in "save file" folders.

I have corrected Windows Explorer to only show list view of all my folders.

However, this does not affect the dialog box that comes up when saving a file to a folder. How can I correct this?
Kindly use all layman's language. Thanks!

Thanks Ramesh this reply was really helpful. Once you have created a Folder choose "New Scan" for each page to be scanned and then name it with "File Save As". By default scanned pages are saved to your chosen folder under "Documents".

 

Can't find "save as" when downloading file from internet in Window 10

Just upgraded to Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. When downloading a file from the internet, I no longer see an option to "save as"; just "save to my computer" and "save to Dropbox". An example is trying to download a file from a web based email such as
in Yahoo. I would like to "save as" and then choose which folder it is saved to rather than have to "save to my computer" which saves it into the Downloads folder, then go to that folder, cut it, and paste it into the desired folder. Any help appreciated.

 

Hi, I doubt that can be done. Different programs generate differently formatted save boxes for example- not all look the same or have the same features. Thus they may not use the same set of settings.

Your question has been asked from at least 2004 from what I saw on a quick search.. maybe there's an answer, but I don't know of one I'm afraid.
