Windows 10: Cannot delete item from Quick Launch in Windows 10

I have accidentally dragged a bookmarks folder from Firefox to the Quick Launch bar and cannot delete it.I've tried;- right-clicking on the item on the quick launch bar and selecting delete.- navigating to the quick launch folder and trying to delete the file there.- using the programs 'Eraser' & FileASSASSIN' to try and delete the file both tell me the file does not exist.- booting in safe mode and trying to delete the quick launch shortcut and the file in the quick launch folder.If anyone can suggest a method for deleting this file, or removing the remnants of the file that has already

To resolve the issue with quick access, we recommend deleting your temporary files. We suggest to follow the steps

below:

• Launch File Explorer.
• Copy and paste this %AppData%\Microsoft\windows\recent\automaticdestinations
  in address bar.
  
  
  
  
• Press Ctrl + A to highlight.
• Right-click, select Delete.
• Copy and paste this %AppData%\Microsoft\windows\recent\customdestinations
  in address bar again.
  
  
  
  
• Follow step 3 & 4.

Automate Enabling Quick Launch

Hello all,

I'm looking for a way to automate turning on Quick Launch in Windows 10 and turn of the text features.

I'm able to ad items to the Quick Launch bar using Power-shell.

I need to come up with a solution as I need deploy windows to different groups and each ones Quick Launch setup has different requirements.

Anyone have any suggestions how this can be accomplished.

Quick Access bar

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”
