    Cannot delete when right click on folder or file also can't delete by pressing "Delete"...


    I am unable to delete any files or folders on my E: drive by right clicking and by pressing "Delete" button on keyboard. And also i cannot create for example txt document by right clicking. There is no "New" shortcut on right click.

    However on other drives C: and D: such a problem doesn't exist. On those drives everithing works fine.

    I tried logging in with another account, i tried system restore, i tried scanning with antivirus nothing helps.

    Trouble deleting a folder

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused Cannot delete when right click on folder or file also can't delete by pressing "Delete"... :confused:

    Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well Cannot delete when right click on folder or file also can't delete by pressing "Delete"... :eek:hwell:

    Can't delete folder!

    have you tried using safe mode to delete it? i dont know what you had in it, but i have tried to delete files that said they had nothing in them from the program files folder and it said "DUNK" and NO but i was able to delete them from safe mode

    Can't delete folder!

    If you ever get more 'malicious' files that dont let you delete them

    Use a program called "Gypo Moveonboot"
    It stops the files from executing on bootup, which allows you to delete them without any "illegal error" messages. But its only for files, i dont think it does folders...
