Hi since upgrading windows 10 on my DELL XP 12 it is no longer detecting the integrated webcam. Has anybody worked out a driver or workaround for this issue. I have used all of Dells tools and searched endlessly for a driver solution but it appears that
this is a windows issue. Please help. it does not exist at all in the device manager???

For Dell XPS 12 9Q33, then NFC driver is only available for Windows 8.1 and not Windows 10. You may go to
Support for XPS 12 9Q33 and choose
Windows 8, 64-bit from the drop-down list of Operating system and you will be able to see the
Intel NFC Driver for your laptop, but NFC Driver is not available for Windows 10.

So, if you want to use NFC on your laptop, you can try downloading the
Intel NFC Driver on your Windows 10 computer and install it in Compatibility Mode by following the below steps and check if this helps.

Step 1: Once you download the
Intel NFC Driver onto your computer > Right-click on the driver setup that you downloaded > Click on
Properties > Go to Compatibility tab > Choose
Troubleshoot Program > Check the options The program worked in earlier version of Windows but won't install or run now and
The program requires additional permissions.

Step 2: Then, choose Windows 8 for Which version of Windows did this program work on before? > Click on
Next > Then, follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 3: Once the driver is installed, restart the laptop once, and check for the issue.

Give it a shot and let us know of any changes.

There have been many issues with microphones and webcams in the new 1803 update.

The only solution for right now is to rollback the update until dell or microsoft sends out new drivers for devices. I am really VERY sorry.

To rollback go to start - settings - update and security - recovery and should see an option to rollback.

Then I suggest pausing the update for at least 60 days.
