Windows 10: Cannot disable certain games/apps from child account

Hi everyone,


I have 2 school aged 7 and 11 kids that I just bought laptops for so they can do their online homework.


- On my 7 year old's account MIKIE-LAPTOP - see screenshot, it shows only 1 device and it shows all the apps that are installed on his device, many of which I have disabled access to.


- On my 11 year old's account KAYLEE-LAPTOP - see screenshot, it shows XBOX-ONE-X and KAYLEE-LAPTOP. I have already removed the XBOX-ONE from my account from my account but it still shows up there. Additionally, it only shows a few apps install on her laptop even though there are many more apps that are installed on her laptop. I can't disable these apps because they don't show up on the list, unlike MIKIE-LAPTOP. For example, she can play Solitaire on her laptop because I don't see Solitaire on my list so I can disable it.


Does anyone know how to fix this?

Windows 10 tablet - child account cannot download apps or games

Thank you for the suggestion. I have tried removing the Child account and re-adding it, but I get the same results.

Removing the Child account permanently does not meet my needs -- I need the Child account to be able to install apps.

Is there any troubleshooting steps or logs I could examine to determine why the Get button on this page is disabled?

 

Unable to see apps and games in list of child account

We may need to do further investigation to identify the issue and its cause. Please provide the following information:

• How many adult account manages your child's account?
• Have you tried to expand Show all? Was the Camera app showing?
• Base on the screenshot you've provided, it seems that you have multiple child's account; we'd like to know if it only happens on a certain child account.

Managing the Settings of a child account can be applied to all devices that the child logs into with their Microsoft Account. When it comes to downloading apps, you can change the permissions by following the steps listed below:

• Sign in your Microsoft Account here.
• Click on the Family tab.
• Click your child's' account then select Activity on the right.

• Click on the drop-down button to change the age restrictions.
