    I have Windows 10 Home version 2004 installed and I want to disable numerical aka logical sorting in file explorer. I have tried both approaches via registry and group policy manager as explained here and in other places: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/why-is-every-thread-about-sorting-in-alphabetical/61078c8c-5530-49be-b131-615fd752b76a
    However, file explorer still sorts numerically even after reboot. Does Windows 10 no longer support this switch? Or could it be an issue with the account? I am using a microsoft online account on the new machine.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Windows 10 File Explorer Numerical Sorting

    Windows 10 Pro - Version 1903

    Numerical sorting is turned on in group policy editor. Files are not sorting correctly. Decimal numbers are listed after whole numbers. Folders are sorting correctly. Number lists in Microsoft Office 2013 Word & Excel sort correctly. What could be causing this? Thanks.
