Windows 10: Cannot download games from microsoft store, my ram maxes out and pc freezes

I've tried to download ark survival evolved 4 times now from the Microsoft store and when it gets to a certain point, my ram maxes out and pc freezes. I've the latest win10 version and there's no update up for the store. Every time I restart my pc the size of the game seems to increase, started out at 160 I believe and now it's at around 296 which is actually way more than it should be with all the expansions downloaded.

OS: windows 10 64-bit
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-Gaming 5
Processor: i5-6600k
RAM: G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) Ripjaws V SERIES DDR4 3200MHz
HDD: 1TB (Dont remember which one)

• Make sure that Date and Time in your device is correct and up-to date.

Step 1: Try clearing the Store Cache:

Step 2: Also I would suggest you to run
Windows Store Troubleshooter and check if it helps:

search bar and click on it from the list.

2. Click on view all and select
