Windows 10: Cannot download updates in Windows update 10, or install drivers downloaded with other...

Hello! Hopefully, someone here can help me out. I'm running Windows 10 version 20H2, Build 19042.964I'm attempting to download and install update KB5003173, but receive an error that reads:"There were problems downloading some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this, try searching the web or contacting support for help. This error code might help: 0x800703e6"I have searched using that code several times, and tried a number of fixes, none of which have helped. I also have two driver updates which were downloaded by the latest version of Driver Booster, that fail

^This, then reboot and go to manually update windows. Find KB3035583 in the list of available updates, right-click and "Hide this update" so it doesn't get installed again next go around.

To stop the download, uninstall the KB3035583 update (under "Control Panel > Windows Update > Installed Updates").


To get rid of the C:\$Windows.~BT folder:

• Right-click on your C: drive.
• Select "Properties".
• Click on [ Disk Cleanup ]
• After the initial scan: If you have a [ Clean up system files ] button, click it and wait for the second scan to finish.
• Scroll down the list and look for "Temporary Windows installation files" (its size should be in the gigabytes range); check the box.
• Click on [ OK ] to start the clean-up.
