  1. Cannot Drag files from Windows Mail

    Hi,

I have windows 10 and am using Windows Mail Version 16005.11231.20192.0.

I cannot drag an email attachment out of an email to a file on my computer. I was always able to do this with outlook. Is there a fix? This is a very debilitating problem.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Cannot Drag files from Windows Mail :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

  3. Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

file explorer - cant drag to second window

    Hi,

There are several factors that may trigger this issue including your settings or even recent changes to your computer. In order for us to efficiently assist you, we just have few questions
    for you:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?

    • When you say you cannot drag file explorer on the "second Windows", are you referring to a second monitor?

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Regards.
