Cannot enable Developer Mode .... Takes infinte time in loading




and if I do manually install developer package from Add Additional Feature then it takes infinity time and remains still waited for more than 24 hours





My version of windows 10 pro is 1809 and OS Build is 17763.503


Steps I have already taken

1. Enable by Regedit

2. Enable by Command Prompt


but still have problem …… please resolve this problem

Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > App Package Deployment

• Allow all trusted apps to install
• Allows development of Windows Store apps and installing them from an integrated development environment (IDE

What is developer mode

Hi,

I suggest you to start the computer in Safe mode from the Windows Recovery Environment.

Please refer the below link to start the computer in Safe mode and check if it fixes the issue:

Note: The steps for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10 Insider Preview.

Once you have entered into the Safe mode then, open Command Prompt and enable Built in Administrator.

Follow the below steps to enable Built in Administrator:

• Open Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment.
• Copy and paste the below command and press Enter.

net user administrator /active:yes

3. Close the Command Prompt.

4. Try to login though Built in Administrator and change the earlier password or you can create new user account.

N9 - Can't enable Developer mode

I have a similar issue.

It is not with enabling developer mode, I was able to do that a couple of days ago and everything downloaded and installed ok.

Today though I tried to install the utilities package after enabling developer mode and it failed with the same error.

Download failed

Can't complete the download.

Connection to the application provider was lost. Try again later.

I can connect to the Internet via the web browser so the connection to my router is ok.

I have tried a number of times over the past couple of hours still no success. Is there possibly an issue with the host developer mode connects to when downloading the packages?
