Windows 10: Cannot exceed internet speed over 100mbps

We have bought 1 gig internet speed, and I've been struggling to get my pc over 100mbps. It's the same no matter what I do; Connect via wifi , which my phone can pull 500mbps, or use direct connection to the modem. I know its a problem with my pc because a computer on the same connection gets 1 gig no problem. I don't think its my hardware which is the IntelR I211 Gigabit Network which says it can pull up to 1000mbps. Is there some setting that I'm missing?

Link speed say 100mbps, when it should be saying 1000mbps/1gbps

A few weeks back i got Fiber internet put in. We are paying our ISP for 200mbps. One computer is only getting 50mbps and the link speed in task manager says 100mbps. unlike another PC in my house reading a link speed of 1gbps and is g etting the full 200mbps.

I have tried changing the Speed and Duplex to 1gpbs but the link speed still says 100mbps in task manager. I am still not getting the full 200mbps. I have been testing my speeds with Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test.

If anyone knows how to change the link speed to 1gbps that would be great!

 

Slow internet download speeds

I've got an Inspiron 7579 with the Intel Wireless Dual Band AC 3165. I have an internet connection with Spectrum Cable with a download speed of 100mbps. I receive over this amount with a Ethernet connection but only around 30-34 mbps wirelessly. I tried
several suggestions I've found but with no major improvements. I've tested the wireless in several locations in my house and even right next to the router with not much difference

Any suggestions would be appreciated or is this about what I should expect.

Slow Internet Speed on Windows 10 1809

I have tried all these steps and still getting like 10 - 12mbps download when I am paying for 100mbps and before the Windows update i was hitting 120mbps download and upload speeds.
