    hi everyone

    when i press win+p then click duplicate or extend it doesn't work. i tried connecting my laptop to my samsung tv via hdmi cable, it does not detect my laptop. and also i cannot adjust the brightness of my laptop. your help will be very much appreciated.

    Just hooked up a second monitor using a split vga cable but cannot extend can someone help. It's only duplicating

    Windows 10 Not Recognizing Second Monitor

    A splitter does not give you dual (extended) monitors. It is a SPLITTER, it duplicates one signal.

    If your video card does not have (or you are not using) a secondary output: you cannot extend your picture to a second monitor (extend being the keyword) without additional video devices (not simple signal splitters.)

    This might be caused by faulty cable or you are not using the correct connection setting on your TV.
