1-27-24I am a new member and very happy to be part of this great forum. First I have a Dell i5-8250U CPU 1.60GHZ. The Dell is an Inspiron 15 5000 series. My Graphics is an Intel UHD Graphics 620. I have Windows 11 Home.They way this issue I am having started is when I mirrored my laptop to my 2023 Samsung 65” Smart TV QLED. Well I was successful to see my Dell desktop on the Samsung and started to play a slideshow I created. The slideshow played but not the sound. In my research to find the problem I discovered that the problem may be that my Dell does not support Miracast. But I found out tha

Missing Date and Time, volume and Battery Icons

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps:

• Right click on the task bar and you will get a popup menu.
• Click on properties.
• Under behavior of system icons select ON for volume icon, Date and Time icon and Battery icon to always show.
• Click OK.

The battery icon might be hidden. We suggest that you follow the steps below to enable the Power option:

• Type quick actions in the search bar and click on Choose your quick actions.
• Click on Turn system icons on or off.
• Turn On the Power option.
  

If the issue persists, update the driver software.

• Go to device manager:
• Right click on: Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery
• Select: update driver software
• Click: search automatically
