Windows 10: Cannot find default wallpaper, how to debug

The thing is I have a company computer where organization settings are applied. However I have administrator rights on the pc. The wallpaper is a fixed image I needed to change for personal reasons. I have found that the image is set in the following path and deleted it and placed another picC:\Windows\Personalization\DesktopImageHowever, I probably made the mistake of not replacing the image using the same name, but deleting the pic and adding a new one.The problem: Now the OS starts with a black screen. How can I solve the black/blank wallpaper now and add a pic. My guess is that the system

Ethernet is showing as Kernel Debug Network Adapater

I understand that you see Kernel Debug Network Adapter in Device Manager. This can happen if debugging is turner on. I would suggest you to turn off debugging by following the steps mentioned below:

1. Type command prompt in the search bar on the
   Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Paste the following commands and hit Enter:
   
   bcdedit /debug off
   

If you still see the Network Adapter, you can disable it from Device Manager without problems. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, to open
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Network adapters.
   
3. Now, right click on the Kernel Debug adapter and select
   Disable device.

Desktop wallpaper for new users

Hi Alaa,

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

• Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
• On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
• Locate and click Administrative Templates.
• Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
• Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
• Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

unable to change the lock screen Wallpaper.

  Are you not able to choose the directory where the wallpapers has been saved?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.

  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.

  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.
