Windows 10: Cannot Find my Sony XM5 Headphones on my Bluetooth

I recently got a new pair of Sony XM5 Bluetooth headphones, and tried to pair them to my windows 10 pc, and they wouldn't show up under any category. My PC doesn't come automatically with Bluetooth, so I'm using a Bluetooth adapter, but that shouldn't make a difference. Every other pair of Bluetooth headphones have paired easily, but the XM5 wont show up at all. I've troubleshooted and got no where. I made sure that both devices were discoverable. What else could I do to see if they'll show up?

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank

 

Why does my Sony WH1000-XM5 headphones sounds that bad on my computer ?

Hi,

I bought a new Sony WH1000-XM5 headphones and I wanted to use them on my computer. Sadly, when I started to connect them I figured that my headphones works terrible on it.
I got stutters both on my mic on my audio, it's really awful. I looked on the internet and I saw that if I disable the HandsFree option of the headphones the audio would be good, and it did. But that way I can't use my headphones mic !

There's people saying that it is inherent to how bluetooth works and it's a problem of bandwith. But how is it possible that my Android Phone manage to make my headphones work perfectly, with crystal clear voice and audio at the same time, but my computer don't ?
I checked, my computer have Bluetooth 5.1, my phone Bluetooth 5.0.

I tried on multiple computers, it's always the same.

Does anyone have an idea of why it doesn't work properly ? Any solution ?

Bluetooth Headphones can't connect to laptop

I use a Lenovo ThinkPad x131e which runs windows 10. I got sony xm5 wireless headphones. My laptop can't natively use bluetooth so I'm using a bluetooth adapter. I can't connect my headphones to the laptop. When I click "add bluetooth devices" the laptop searches for devices but it doesn't find my headphones. the headphones connect to my phone without any issues and my bluetooth mouse connects to the laptop without any issues. Is there a way to fix this?

I also read somewhere that my device has to be compatible with A2DP bluetooth. Would this be the issue?
