    Cannot find SD Card reader driver


    Hi,

    I went on to do a fresh re-install of Windows 10 on this laptop (ASUS X550ZE-XX026H). Everything is working well but I couldn't find the SD Card reader driver for my laptop.

    I don't know which one in this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Driver & Tools -
    is the right one.

    Any help is appreciated *Smile

    Hi Iman Abyar

    I will suggest you to take a card reader. Put the sd card in that. Connect to PC. Right click on the driver of card reader containing the sd card. Then properties> and there find option of error check. Click on that and scan the sd card. Wait until it finishes....

    SD card reader driver problem on Windows 10.

    leave the sd card out when removing the card reader driver! when the card reader driver issue is resolved it shall read the sd card Cannot find SD Card reader driver :)

    Cannot find SD Card reader driver

    Hi RoasterMen.

    Right click on the Card reader in Device Manager. Click on Properties, click on Details tab. In the section titled Properties get Hardware ids. Copy and paste first line of Values into Google. Should get some hits and some of those hits should have names.
