Cannot get Azure VPN Client from MS store

    Hello,

Recently installed a new Laptop details at the end.

I want to install the Azure VPN Client.

I press the "Get" button and nothing happens.

Maybe it's because I'm using a laptop? And if it is the reason, how can I overcome this?

    Thanks!

Cannot get Azure VPN Client from MS store

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are unable to download Azure VPN from Microsoft Store. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.

    However, please let us know:

    · Does this issue occur only while downloading Azure VPN?

    · Do you receive any error message/code?

    · Is the computer is connected to any Domain or Organizations network?

If the PC is connected to a Domain network, I would suggest you to get in touch with the IT admin of your organization. You can also post your query in
    TechNet forums.

If the PC is not connected to a Domain network, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

    Method 1: Reset Store Cache

Try resetting the Store and see if that helps.

    1. Press Windows key +
    R. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for ‘Run’.

    2. In Run dialog box, type ‘wsreset.exe’ and hit
    Enter.

Note: A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds, the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

    Method 2: Re-register Microsoft Store

Re-register Microsoft Store using PowerShell and see if that helps.

    1. Press
Windows + X keys together and click on
    Windows PowerShell (Admin)
    .

    2. Now type in the command and hit
    Enter: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\\AppXManifest.xml”}

    3. Restart the PC.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

Cannot get Azure VPN Client from MS store

Azure VPN - Client won't launch on Windows 10 PC

I have successfully set up an Azure point to site VPN using IKEv2 - root certs and client certs have been produced successfully.

I have downloaded the VPN client, and on my laptop I can connect, get the private IP address and connect to the Virtual Machine on the network.

However, when I install the same VPN client on my desktop, the VPN connection appears in the VPN settings screen, but when I click "Connect" instead of the Azure login window appearing I get the "circle of dots" going round endlessly, and nothing happens.

I've tried removing the client cert from the laptop, and the Azure login window still appears and warns you that you don't have a valid Client cert, so its not that.

I've removed Sophos Endpoint security, and switched off the firewall to see if they were stopping anything, rebooted several times - but I'm still getting the same issue.

I'm running out of ideas of where to look next to resolve this, so any help would be appreciated.
