Windows 10: Cannot get ethernet to work

Not sure what to do anymore, but I cannot get my ethernet to work. I've tried resetting my network, updating my drivers, etc. On my Realtek GbE Family Controller it says this under the eventsevice PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_87C31043&REV_26\6&30245923&0&0028000A had a problem starting.Driver Name: oem81.infClass Guid: {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}Service: rt640x64Lower Filters: Upper Filters: Problem: 0x15Problem Status: 0x0Not sure what to do. New build, all works but ethernet

Anyway everything works fine except for the ethernet port. Under device manager it is listed as "Ethernet Controller", under the category of "unknown devices" (along with several other unknown devices).

 

Domain network ethernet not working but wifi does?

Hi FreeBooter, I already came across this article and followed the steps with no results, I came across other articles that suggested the same steps but still nothing has worked? Thanks for the reply.

Go to the asus web site and look up your motherboard model. Then go to drivers and download your ethernet driver
