    Built a new AMD PC with ASUS motherboard. The hardware is all working fine.Trying to install Windows 11 OS on it. Went here:https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11"Create Windows 11 Installation Media" <-- Downloaded that.Ran the executable to a clean, 8GB USB from my working PC. All went fine.Important note: I noticed that even though I had pre-formatted my USB to use NTFS, that the Windows executable re-formats it to FAT32, which splits the install.wim file into two due to the FAT32 4GB file limitation, naming them install.swm and install2.swm inside the sources folder ...

    Error when installing Win7

    when Installing Windows 7 I get an error saying ""A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note: If the windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step." What should I do to get Windows to install?

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)
