Windows 10: Cannot get security definition updates after KB4052623 Version 4.18.2105.5 was installed

I've stopped getting definition updates after KB4052623 V4.18.2105.5 was installed on 6/24/3021. All other MS updates have been installed as of 7/7/2021, but no definition updates since KB22607602 V1.341.712.0 on 6/14/2021. The computer is only used occasionally, and I always install updates immediately after startup before doing anything else.When I check for updates it says I'm up to date, but I know there have been several definition updates since 6/14/2021.I've tried running the update troubleshooter, but it keeps getting stuck when checking for pending restarts.

Windows update KB4052623 (Version 14.18.2001.10) did not install

Today Windows updated except Update for Microsoft Defender antimalware platform KB4052623 (Version 14.18.2001.10).

What I am suppose to do? Is it OK if I do nothing further or I got to re-install KB4052623 if, so then how?

Your valuable suggestion is needed.

Win Defender KB4052623 (v4.18.1905.4) repeated install fail 0x80070643

Can someone please tell me more about this situation? This Windows Defender update is repeatedly failing to install: KB4052623 (Version 4.18.1905.4) installation fail with Error 0x80070643. I have searched various forums for a solution, but have found none so far that pertains to this specific version.

Also, when I try to manually update Windows Defender from within Windows Defender, I get another error message saying: error code -2147023293 protection definition update failed.

Thanks in advance for any help provided. I should add that I have no 3rd party AV installed.

I have tried so many solutions for this. None of those work. Windows defender updates has been issue since I've installed this.
