Windows 10: Cannot get win10 2004 to sleep

I have tried everything and I do mean everything that can be found here on the internet to try and solve. I just built new AMD Ryzen 5 3600 system and sleep was working, I thought it might of been the system maint but I let it run to optimize all my drives.

I made sure nothing is attached to system, no USB nothing. I tried to reset power plan, tried both Ryzen balance and win10 balance power plans. I do notice now and then HDD light coming on and off. I have checked event logs, powewrconfig -requests -last wake nothing is showing there, tried to energy report nothing there either, system just won't go to sleep. I hope someone may offer something I may have missed.

Please keep in mind I have tried all the basic stuff/info you can find on internet and reading some posts here.

I guess someone else is having same problem and I thought I chime in.

If using Ethernet, disable the wake on LAN option to rule that out. Yes disabled

See Wake Source in Windows 10 check the Event Viewer for clues too. ALL source unknown.

Display will not sleep.

• Click on Start>Settings>System.
• In the left navigation pane, click on Power & sleep.
• In the right pane, select the time limit for the system to go to sleep from the drop down list.

Sleep

Hi,

This may happen due to its power plan. A power plan is a collection of hardware and system settings that manages how computers use and conserve power. For this, we suggest that you reset and restore power plans to its default. kindly follow these steps:

• Open the Command Prompt (Admin).
• Copy and paste the command below into the command prompt, and press
  Enter:
  • powercfg -restoredefaultschemes
• Close the Command Prompt window, and then restart your PC to apply the changes.

After that, go to Power & sleep settings
by typing it into the Windows Search. Check the When plugged in, PC goes to sleep after
settings is set to Never.
