Windows 10: Cannot go back to 23H2 after installing 24H2 in Windows 11

Discus and support Cannot go back to 23H2 after installing 24H2 in Windows 11 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I upgraded from Windows 11 Pro 23H2 to 24H2 and I just don't like it.     Cannot go back to 23H2 after installing 24H2 in Windows 11


    I upgraded from Windows 11 Pro 23H2 to 24H2 and I just don't like it. I want to go back to Windows 11 23H2 and I cannot do so. This upgrade is not good and now looks like I cannot revert to 23H2 now. I should not have upgraded, but Windows 11 24H2 installed through Windows Update with NO option to delay or stop it from installing.Settings > Windows Update > Recovery > Go back and this error shows:Is there any way to go back to Windows 11 23H2 where my system had been running smoothly and good without errors or problems?Thanks.

    There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

    The build number 22631.2506 implies the device has been upgraded to 23H2 already.

    Here are the version/build numbers for Windows 11.

    • 22000.xxx is 21H2
    • 22621.xxx is 22H2
    • 22631.xxx is 23H2
