    Cannot import registry file for windows defender, getting error "cannot import file...


    Already tried granting permissions in regedit and taking ownership of the file + granting everyone permissions, also ran a "sfc /scannow" command to search for any corrupt files, but I get the exact same error.

    I cannot import game registry in Win10

    How big is the reg file ?

    Can you post the header first few lines here, just to make sure it's a valid reg file ?

    also, make sure to import your reg file with administrator rights .

    From an elevated prompt, type :

    Reg import Sky_Force_Anniversary.reg

    If this fail, share your reg file here, i'll try to import it in my own registry and see what's happen.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

    I want to import a mp3 file but got this error message " The selected file is not valid or is corrupted." Odd thing is that I can import any other mp3 just fine...
