Windows 10: Cannot instal net frame work 3.5 on windows 11

ive seen other questions answered like this but i need some help understanding what to doi dont understand how to do the answer given herehow do i run it?what does Where E:\ is the mounted ISO drive-letter. meanPlease run:dism /online /Add-Package /PackagePath:E:\Sources\SxS\microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~.cabWhere E:\ is the mounted ISO drive-letter.REF: Error 0x80070490 Installing .NET Framework 3.5I checked the DISM logs and noted that the above command, mentioning the cab file path, hasn't been run.If it errors out, post the error message here. Thank you for being a part of Windows 10 family.

In Windows 10, .Net Framework 4.6 comes preinstalled. As a first step, I suggest you to check if .Net Framework is enabled in Windows Features.

Follow the steps to enable .Net Frameworks:

a. Press Windows + X keys and click on
Programs and Features.

b. Click on Turn Windows Features on or off.

c. Check if the .Net Framework 4.6 has a check mark or not. If there is no check mark, then put a check and restart the computer and check.

If the issue persists, we request that you run
.NET Framework Repair Tool. You may notice that Windows 10 was not listed on the System Requirements but the repair will work in Windows 10

Frame Work 3.5 Not downlaoding

If you're referring to .NET Framework 3.5, try the DISM method to enable it on your system.

.net frame work 3.5 does not install in Windows 10

Good Day



I’ve followed all the steps possible I could find in your link and other threads, nothing seem to work to get a program im trying to install to pick up that .net 3.5 is installed although I know for sure it is installed.



I’ve even gone as far as doing a clean install of Windows 8 but I still have the same problem.



Do you guys have any other suggestions for me as I don’t know what it could possibly be?
