Windows 10: Cannot install chrome through chromesetup.exe

Hi. Yesterday, I did a system restore on my pc which has windows 10. After that, I couldn't open chrome. When I clicked on the icon or from start, it wasn't opening. I researched a bit and found out that many there were some people who had the same issue and the solution is to reinstall it. I deleted the chrome first through control panel and uninstall a program, and reinstalled the chromesetup.exe. But, when I double click and try to reinstall, it shows "On your marks" and loading window and closes itself after 3-5 seconds. I tried turning off antivirus, restarting the computer, nothing worke

remove chromesetup.exe from E:\vg\ask vg\software\google chrome\chromesetup.exe

then download google chrome offline installer from filehorse.com , then install

Many thanks for the detailed steps.

I followed the same by deleting the Google folder from both Local and Roaming and attempted to reinstall chrome.

After clicking the ChromeSetup, this time it opened the Google with chrome://welcome/ in the address bar with a content Aw, Snap!!! Something went wrong and then installation wont proceed further. (This was the same issue I faced originally before attempting
to uninstall and reinstall Chrome.)

I also tried to open Chrome in a New incognito window and still chrome does not load and I get a message Can't open this page.

None of the links like chrome://settings/ works.

Any idea what might have gone wrong.
