Windows 10: Cannot install Dell Support Assistant

I am using windows 11 22H2 but my problem began while using win10 and continues. I cannot install Dell support assistant in regular of safe modes.It stated with me not being able to install updates it was not possible to install update. So I uninstalled support assistant to reinstall but could not. In the regular mode it fails at downloading installation files and in safe mode it just fails, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. I'm using a Dell Precision 7740 and have no problem installing any other programs/apps or updates.

Dell Support Assist not wanted but needed?

I do some user support on the Dell forums. Support Assist isn't needed. You can manually access the Dell downloads, specific to your PC, by using your Service Tag. This will list all downloads based on the configuration as shipped. BIOS updates are critical to only do them manually, IF NEEDED, as we have seen Support Assist BIOS corruptions (not all but some).

Its up to you with McAfee, that was one of the first things I uninstalled on my Inspiron 15 5577 model. I don't use that bloatware and use the built in Windows Defender and Malwarebytes.

After a clean installation I check for Windows Updates. Then I go to the Dell website and Detect Drivers which installs Dell Support Assist. Then I run DSA from my PC instead of online and update all the recommended drivers (sometimes you will find that you an get a different result using the online method..In my case with online it recommends installing an older version of my Intel Chipset Drivers which tech support told me to ignore as it is a glitch with DSA software online). If the Intel Chipset Drivers isn't listed as a recommended update by DSA from the desktop (in my case it wasn't listed) I manually install just the Intel Chipset Device Software for my Service Tag afterwards from the Dell website. Then its just personal choice..you could either leave DSA installed or do as I do and uninstall it and just check the Dell website monthly to see if there are any newer updated drivers. If there is just manually install it
