Windows 10: Cannot Install Latest Updates

When I try to install an update, I get a black screen at the end. The only way to get out of that screen and reboot is to go into troubleshooting and uninstall the latest quality update.On my Windows Update page in settings, it says the update was successfully installed, but here it is, 2025, and my version number is 23H2 OS Build 22631.4317.I've tried everything suggested on this and other forums, and as far as I can see, my only alternative is to reset the computer, which I don't want to do, because what if I get that black screen again?I am so frustrated by this. Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to go to Manufacturer web site and download and install the latest chipset driver for your device and check if it helps.

Step 2: I suggest you to check for the Windows updates and install all the updates.

  MS-settings: and then press OK. This opens Settings.
  
• 
  In Settings, go to Update & security >
  Windows Update, and then select Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.
