Windows 10: CANNOT INSTALL PROPERLY HIGH DEFINATION AUDIO DRIVER

My computer is not able to install audio driver properly. It says code 10 error and request not supported problem after installing the driver. The HD Audio Controller is also showing yellow mark. There is a red cross in the sound icon and says no output audio device installed.I Have tried troubleshooting, updating the driver latest version is already installed, Registry Editor No file was found as upperfilter or lowerfilter also tried to Stop and Start Windows Audio. I also found that under hkey_local_machine ,there shows an error message “An error is preventing this key from being

I don't have the IDT High Definition Audio Codec Driver installed on my computer

If you want to have the high definition audio codec driver on your computer, we suggest updating your sound driver. Follow the steps below to update sound driver.

• On Start menu and type
  Device Manager and press enter.
• Click Sound, video, and game controllers.
• Right-click IDT High definition audio codec and
  Update driver.
• If there are no update available, reinstall the driver by clicking Uninstall.
• Restart the computer. Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

We also suggest updating the chipset driver from your manufacturer's website. Click

AUDIO SERVICE NOT WORKING.

In that case, I suggest you follow below.

Step 1:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Step 2:

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

Step 3:

Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 4:

You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

Step 5:

Restart PC

IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Not Working

I suggest you to update the driver and check if the issue persist.

Follow the steps to Update the driver and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X key and click
  Device Manager.
• Select IDT High Definition Audio CODEC on Device Manager.
• Select the Driver tab.
• Click on Update Driver.
• Select the option “browse my computer for driver software”.
• Select the option “let me pick up a list of device drivers on my computer”.
• Select the High Definition Audio Device instead of IDT High Definition" And click next.
