Windows 10: Cannot install software's in Windows11

Hi Team,Can you please help me with the Software's VLC Player, Foxit PDF Reader that i was trying to install in my PC, I tried it from Microsoft Store and from the VLC Player, Foxit PDF Reader web sites as well, but failed to install. It is happening for other app's also. Can any one please help to fix the issue?Regards,Yashwanth.K

Install Diablo 3 on Linux

Just install PlayOnLinux? Why did they make step 2 and 3 of this "tutorial"?

Anyway, looking at the supported software list for PlayOnLinux, D3 is a step in the right direction. Lack of gaming is a factor for a lot of people when deciding on an OS, if more recent games get ported it may help migrate them to their preferred choice.

Cannot install software in Windows11

It sounds like you are currently having problems that cannot install software in Windows11.Sorry for the inconvenience.



Is it possible to install the software normally on the Microsoft Store? Did the problem of couldn't install software issue occur after updating to Windows 11?

As for your problem, you can try the following solutions to see if they can solve your problem:



1.It may be caused by Windows Installer not running effectively, please try the following steps:

1) Enter "services" in the search box and open it.

2) Find "Windows Installer", if it is "stopped", right click on "Windows Installer" and select "Start".

3) Find cmd.exe in the Windows/system32/ directory, and then right-click to "Run as administrator" .

4) Type "regsvr32 msi.dll" and press Enter. If it prompts "DllRegisterServer has succeeded in msi.dll", it‘s done.

2. Disable or uninstall third-party security software and perform a clean boot to eliminate third-party software interference.

3. Try the repair command to repair system files.

Type CMD in the search box,select the "Command Prompt" and "Run as administrator".Type the following commands in sequence and press Enter：

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

sfc /scannow

Then restart the computer.
