Windows 10: Cannot install Win 10 on newly built PC. Keeps asking for a media driver. Very frustrated.

Just built a new system for gaming.ASUS B550-Plus MotherboardAMD Ryzen 7 6700G16GB DDR4 RAM2x SATA HDDsDownloaded Windows 10 ISO from MS, verified the checksum, checksum matches. Motherboard BIOS updated to latest version. I have no other Windows PC, Linux only, so ISO had to be burned to a USB stick using the GNU dd utility. Installer boots, asks for language, I click on Install after that and get a dialog stating that install cannot continue due to a missing media driver, but it won't tell me what piece of hardware it needs the driver for. I loaded all drivers for my hardware, freshly downlo

How to re-install Win XP to upgraded MB from a pre-built PC

I have a friend's PC who's MB died (ASUA P5LP-LE 775 Socket)....and am helping him install a brand new one (Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H AM3)...Also changing to a AMD Phenom II X2 555BE.

The pre-built PC (HP Pavilion Media Center a1606n) which has Windows XP Media edition pre-installed on it came with no install disc and he doesn't have a key-code.

My concern is how to get the OS re-installed on the new motherboard. I have done a few searches and it seems that there can be several issues when attempting this when not having a disc or key-code.

I do have a spare disc w/ key-code for Windows XP Home Edition that I can let him use to install, but my concern is would there be any conflict with Win XP Media Center Edition already being on one of his HDD's.

I suggested he call HP, which he did, and ask for their help, but since the PC is out of warranty they would not do anything unless he paid them a service charge...same held true for M$...they wanted 70 bucks.

Is there any way to re-install the existing OS that was factory installed by HP without a disc and product key-code ? Or can I do a fresh install using Win XP Home Edition and if so what becomes of the Windows XP Media Edition thats already installed ? Will it cause any conflicts ?

Newly build pc keep restarting

I'm having trouble my newly built pc. At first, everything was fine, I was able to play Fortnite for a game. After the game finished, the system started to restart (without any warning or error message). Then it started to does it randomly so I reset everything. Then once got back to windows, and started to install all of the drivers, it just kept on restarting every time I try to install the drivers. The temperature was below 30 C with nothing running and with game, it is below 55 C.

I tried the following suggestions:

1. Safe mode, turn off the automatic restart and update all the drivers
   
2. Auto Repair
   
3. switch the RAM positions/cleaning
   

Here are the parts:
CPU: Intel i7 9700k
GPU: RTX 2070
Motherboard: MSI Z390-A PRO LGA1151
PSU: Corsair CX Series 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze
Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L
RAM: G.SKILL 16GB
Storage: SSD 750 GB
System: Window 10 home

installing win 10 on a newly built pc

yo okay so i recently built my first ever pc so if you start talking all technical and **** i wont understand anything you say but the problem is that when i try to install win 10 using a usb flash drive i get the error that no drives are detected, and
i do not mean my usb is not detected because it is i mean like storage drives or whatever, i always get the message "we couldn't find any drives. to get a storage driver click load driver" I've been trying to fix this for like 15 hours or so but i cant, i
want to die
