Windows 10: Cannot install Windows 11 - Undoing changes: Error 0xc1900101

My Inspiron 3881 system came with two hard drives, the SSD, OS C: and a HDD. I was already compatable for upgrading to Windows 11, however each time I tried to install it, the `Undoing changes' message appeared during the install process. When I checked, it showed the Error 0xc1900101. When I looked into this, it suggested that it usually indicates that an incompatible driver is present, however as Windows and its so-called Troubleshooters are so utterly useless, it leaves it there and with no further information. What is the point of telling you there is a problem without including any info

Unable to upgrade one of the system to Windows 10 Update Error 0xC1900101 - 0x20004

Thank you for the reply. I read both of those threads already.

1. Resetting BIOS. I flashed BIOS to the latest version. Currently running default settings. No change.

2. Andre da Costa brings up a list of reasons. For error 0xC1900101-0x20017 he says refer to error 0xc000021a.

2a. Regarding his troubleshooting steps for error 0xc000021a. He says to wipe the drive and switch from NTFS to GPT. This is incorrect. If this was true, then no one could update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 without a clean install. Beyond which, I updated
my first desktop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 when it was running Windows 7 on NTFS.

2b. Regarding his additional troubleshooting steps for error 0xC1900101-0x20017. He has a number of suggestions, such as disabling peripherals. I tried all of these for both .iso and USB installs. No luck.

Any other suggestions?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
