    Cannot install windows on newly built pc, due to ssd style?


    I have made a new pc, and am installing windows as i have many time before, where i first got a warning that i cannot install windows as the disk is gdp style, after reading online i saw i could do the uefi installation and it would install it on the disk, it does not work as when it is 100% installed it just boots back to the motherboard menu, i have also cleaned the drive and converted to mbr still didn't workAfter reading online I used the uefi boot option, it did not work

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Issues Connecting Newly Built PC to Ethernet

    I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section but I'm having issues getting my newly built PC connected to the Internet. I have an Ethernet cord plugged into my modem and into my PC but Windows is not detecting a connection. Any help is appreciated.

    If this is of any help, my MOBO is an MSI Z97 Gaming 5.
