Windows 10: Cannot Leave a Family Group, or Remove Members, I am the only Organizer

I have tried to follow the "Right" steps. Please don't refer me to those: I am the one and only organizer in our family group. With me, there are three kids, who are just members.1. I cannot remove kids from the group. When trying, it gives an error message:"You can't remove zzzzz from the family groupFamily members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for zzzzz can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted zzzzz consent to remove zzzzz from the family group."2. I cannot remove myself from the family group

Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Can't remove family members from family group

Hey all,

I'm the organizer for my family group. I'm trying to remove one of the members of the family group, and it tells me "Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for [Member] can remove this family member. Ask the family organizer who granted [Member] consent to remove [Member] from the family group."

I am the person who added this member to the group. I even checked on their profile, and it says I'm the organizer. Why can't I edit/remove this account?

You cannot remove organisers. Child can leave from the Family or Organizer can leave himself. There must be at least 2 organisers if you want to remove 1.

There are several different ways for family members and organizers to leave or be removed from a Microsoft family group depending on their role.

Before leaving, family members and organizers should remove saved places and location alerts they would not like to remain in the group. Location alerts must be removed by the individual who set them for saved places to be deleted. Leaving or being removed from a family group will not delete Microsoft accounts.

Using a web browser, visit family.microsoft.com.

Log into your Family Safety account.

Make sure there will be at least one more organizer and family member in your family group before you leave. Family groups without an organizer and at least one other family member will be deleted.

Remove all family member consent permissions you hold by following the steps below.

Click Manage my child’s profile info and find your family member.

Select Remove consent for this child’s account.

Once all held consent is removed, select Leave family group.
