Windows 10: Cannot locate my site files ovet pc, on tbalet I see the remote directory

Hello, community,

I'm trying build up a new site, on my tablet and smartphone , that are conected over wifi to the same net I see the files, but on PC I see on chrome ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED, on Opera DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.

I tried the usual fix, my DNS are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4


Any tip where to look?

Correct Directory Location For Pictures Folder


"Now Documents, Videos etc say file location is This PC. But Pictures file location is C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures."

If we understand you correctly, the issue is that Pictures doesn't appear in the left panel under This PC. The correct location IS C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures. This is only an issue of using Step 8 in the tutorial to add it back to the list. See if this screenshot is what you want to achieve- put Pictures folder back in list on L.

 

Directory Size Utility

First of all nice utility, Mindweaver!
Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...

• maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
  
• Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
  
• maybe you also add export list to excel?
  
• there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
  
• and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?

 

Remote File transfer ?

A simple solution is RAVE from www.randmsoft.com. I use it to transfer files and put files onto my home PC when I'm in a remote location. I also launch batch files (totally into media centre!). The program has various functionality and is quick to respond. It works on Windows OS.
