Windows 10: cannot locate program files

I have installed a program Xodo from the Microsoft store on my Win 11 laptop. A shortcut appears on my screen but I cannot locate the actual program files. If I click on the shortcut properties, the "open file location" is grayed out. I searched Program Files and Program File x86 and Users/AppData. And the program is not listed under Control Panel/Programs and Features. How can I locate the files and how do I delete the program?

Finding the program locations

I am trying to find where programs are located. I DON'T want to pull up the all apps menu list as that is NOT helpful.

When I'm associating a file or trying to open a file, I don't want to go through five various steps to find what if anything will open a file. I want to find the file when I'm clicking on the "Open With" function.

 

Are my Registry Files all legitimate programs?

Isn't there a web tool whereby I can check if programs listed in my REGISTRY FILES are legitimate programs?

As you are unable to open the program from Start screen. I would suggest you to right click on it and click on
Unpin from Start. Browse to the file location, right click on it and select Pin to Start to set it properly.



To change the Start settings, follow these steps:

• Click on Search and type “Start settings” without quotes.
• Click on the Start settings (System settings).
• It will open the Personalization window with Start settings.
• From here you can make the necessary changes.
