Windows 10: Cannot log in to File Explorer

I notice on File Explorer that it says to me, please sign in.So I try and I get the attached:It isn't possible to get the account.live.com page to load, for whatever reason, so I go to: https://account.microsoft.com/ instead. Assuming this is the correct place to have gone, I of course get the default screen which is the My Account screen. Unfortunately, no information or direction whatsoever and which of these 8 tiles contain the settings that I need to adjust or explore - so what would be the right one for me to look at?I check out the sign-ins one and nothing but successful sign-ins listed

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

 

File explorer icon from taskbar dissappears while working on it

"This file can't be previewed" problem in explorer

• Were there any changes on your PC before this happened like software or updates installed?

For initial troubleshooting, we suggest that you follow the steps listed below:

• Open File Explorer.
• Access this link
  
  C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
• Delete all the files.
• After deleting the files kindly try and see if there's a thumbnail preview of your files.
