Cannot log into my computer due to an update remotely done and now it's asking for a Bitlocker key which I did not set up and do not have

Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer

Then follow the steps below to ensure remote desktop is enabled:

• Click Start.
• Click on File Explorer.
• Right-click This PC.
• Select Properties.
• Click Remote settings in the upper left hand corner.
• Ensure the option Allow remote connection to this computer and
  Allow Remote Assistance connection to this computer is selected.
• Click Apply and OK.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

Can i use Remote Desktop on Windows 11 Pro to log in remotely to use the computer while my son plays games on it locally

Hi, I am trying to understand if I can log via Remote Desktop in to my son's powerful gaming desktop with Windows 11 Pro while he plays games on it. I figured out how to enable Remote Desktop and logged in but it forces the local user to log out/lose control when i log in with Remote Desktop.

I just need to browse the web and do other non-intensive tasks. I found another thread dated February 13 that gives step by step instructions on how to enable this but it's not working for me and i don't understand the last step where it says to remove the windows password. Use Remote Desktop while also logged in. Windows 11 Pro - Microsoft Community Is this only supposed to work if the computer has no Windows password?

The problem is my son is not an administrator on the computer and i need two different users so i can log in as administrator and he can still log in as himself with Microsoft Family controls.

Can anyone help explain if what i am asking is possible and step by step instructions on how to do it?

HP Connected Remote is an app that comes preinstalled on select Windows HP computers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves this issue.

• On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
• Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
• Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.
