Windows 10: Cannot open JPG.PMS photo files.

Discus and support Cannot open JPG.PMS photo files. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have lost a huge number of photos due to file not recognized.     Cannot open JPG.PMS photo files.


    I have lost a huge number of photos due to file not recognized. They show as DSCN3123.JPG.PMS I have tried renaming without the PMS but this does not work. From my memory when I purchased a remote storage drive and moved my photo's across it compressed them and this added the PMS. I know longer have the drive or software that came with it. Any suggestions would be apricated?
