Cannot open the required file C:\Sources\install.wim Error Code 0x8007000D

    Hello,

I am trying to install the Windows 10 iso from a bootable USB drive onto a NUC i3 I have a windows 10 pro activation license code. I am able to start the setup but then after trying to initialize, I get the error Cannot open the required file C:\Sources\install.wim Error Code 0x8007000D.

I have already formatted the hard drive for windows I was running Ubuntu 20, cleared all partitions, and cleared all data. I have checked that the serial SATA is recognized SSD. But, I can't seem to get Windows to install?

    Thank you for your help!

    :)

  3. Windows cannot open the required file D:\Sources\install.wim

I have Windows 10 media on a flash drive, and I was going to load it onto my other laptop that had no OS on it. I got to a screen that had said "Setup is Starting". Then, a box popped up saying," Windows cannot open the required file D:\Sources\install.wim. Make sure all files required for installation are available", I checked and the file is there, but I can't continue with the installation. What do I do?
