Windows 10: Cannot open USB drive after pressing Alt+F4 on chkdsk.exe from Powershell

Used partitions tools testdisk 7.2, GetDataBackNTFS and my files where ok fixed Partition, if corrupted, with Testdisk, but still could not open the drive in Windows 10.Now i understand that there is permission problem and gave permissions from Security tab on right click on Drive to Everyone.It seem it will take hours for 2TB of Data bit will wait. Hope it works.Any other solution to quickly fix permissions in Windows 10?Regards.

I'm not familiar Windows 10 Music, Groove Music, etc and Spotify isn't installed. The only music I have is saved to a separate USB drive and only played using a media player such as VLC and Windows Media Player.

 

Alt + F4 Opening File Explorer

We understand that when you press Alt + F4, File Explorer is opened. To be able to assist you in a better way, we would like to know the update that was installed recently. To check go to
Star >> Settings >> Update & Security >> Windows Update >> View update history.

However, you may refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and check if that helps:

Method 1: Check shortcut combination

We can check if Alt + F4 is assigned as a shortcut to open File Explorer. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Right click on the File Explorer icon on the
Taskbar.

2. Now, right click on File Explorer and select
Properties.





3. Under Shortcut key, if you see
Alt + F4, click on it and press Backspace key to revert it to defaults.





4. Click on
Apply and OK.

5.
Restart the computer.

If Method 1 didn’t help, refer the method below.

Method 2: Restore File Explorer to default

We can try restoring File Explorer settings to default and check if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type control folders and click on
   OK.
   
3. Under General tab click on
   Restore Defaults.
   
4. Now, go to View tab and click on
   Restore Defaults.
   
5. Click on Apply and OK.
   

If Method 2 didn’t help, refer the method below.

Method 3: New user account

If restoring File Explorer to defaults didn’t help, we can create a new user account on the computer and check if the issue persists. Refer the steps mentioned in the article

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.

How to disable "shut down windows" popup when pressing Alt + F4

This happens when i click the taskbar or my mouse or no open window is selected and i press Alt + F4 so I get this. I know i dont regularly press alt F4 unless i want to kill a process but I just want to disable this window, i remember enabling it but i dont know how i did it or i forgot. thanks
