Windows 10: Cannot play a game unless it is in respective file folder

As I stated, I cannot move the application for my game out of its download folder, and onto my desktop. If I do, the game will not run no matter what.This means, I have several file folders on my desktop, that I have to open, track down the application, and click on it.This is ugly as heck to look at. How do I fix this?

Make list of files in a folder

My impression is that what he wants is a list he can click on. To me that suggests creating one folder with shortcuts to the items in the various media folders.

And perhaps Motim wants that to be a dynamic list- i.e. always up to date with respect to changing content in those folders.

If so, this could be done using Autohotkey, with a script which scans through the files in each folder in turn and for each file use this command to create a shortcut:

To address the issue, kindly help us with the following questions.

1. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
2. What is the exact error message that is displayed while you play the game?
   
3. Are you facing this issue on Xbox console or Windows PC?
   

BEX64 error is caused by the saved files while you play the game. Kindly check with the below suggestions and see if it works.

• Delete all saved files (game files) from your users/documents folder (possibly libraries/documents folder).
  
• Start the game launcher from origin.
  
• If the origin syncs saved files before starting the launcher > Perform step 1 again.
  
• If it doesn’t sync, start the game and Play.
  

Note: Delete only the game files, do not delete the personal files.

Kindly help us with the above queries and respond with the status of the issue.
