Windows 10: Cannot play multiplater on Xbox despite everything being set to "Allow" and so on.

So I've been trying to play Minecraft Bedrock Edition with some friends online; however, when I try to join realms I get the error message "You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. See instructions for reviewing and changing your privacy settings at aka.ms/MCMultiplayerHelp."


I've reviewed pretty much everything about my account: my online and multiplayer settings, my privacy settings, and my content restrictions, but everything looks fine. Keep in mind that my account is not a child account so that's not the issue.

Xbox Play Anywhere

Hi,

There are a lot of possible reasons why you are having this issue. One of which is having a corrupted profile. To help you resolve this issue, we suggest that you perform the steps below:

Method 1: Remove your profile on your Xbox One.

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
• Select Settings.
• Select All Settings.
• Under Account, select Remove accounts.
• Select the account that you want to remove.
• Select Remove to confirm.
• When you're finished, select Close.

Method 2: Clear Mac address.

• Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.
• Select Settings.
• Select All Settings.
• Select Network.
• Select Network settings.
• Select Advanced settings.
• Select Alternate MAC address.
• Select Clear.
• Select Restart.

Method 3: Re-add your Xbox Profile on your Xbox One.

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
• On the Sign in tab, move all the way down and select
  Add & manage.
• Select Add new.
• Enter the email address for the Microsoft account, and then select Enter.
  

Note: Important Make sure that you do not select Get a new account, unless that’s what you want to do. If you select this, you will create a brand-new Microsoft account.

Make sure that the account you've used to purchase the Xbox Play Anywhere game on your computer is the same Xbox Live account signed in on your console.
